I received news this morning that my uncle passed away. He battled cancer for a long time.
It was a long and difficult road, the one step forward, two steps back kind.
My heart hurts for my family. Cancer is a scary fight that is hard to understand. He leaves behind a beautiful, loving wife and son. I will keep with me the fond memories I have of him and stories my mother has shared. He is with the Lord and is at peace.
You are loved and will be missed.
