Beautiful Lake Tahoe

We've spent the last two days being spoiled and adventuring around with our friends Jim and Sheila in Lake Tahoe.
We arrived on Sunday afternoon and it was 60 degrees and sunny! By the next morning there was nearly 5 inches of snow and it was in the low 30s!
We were so excited to wake to snow. Lake Tahoe resembles a winter wonderland this time of year. All the trees are dusted with snow and the cabin style buildings bring it all together.
We drove around south Lake Tahoe out to Emerald Bay. It was absolutely beautiful!
We hiked down to Taylor creek to see the salmon spawning and hoped to see a few bears feeding ( unfortunately we had just missed them).
We are so thankful to be able to visit these wonderful places and have hospitable and generous friends.

Today we headed for Yosemite National Park.
